Nice blog title, that is all I will say |

The funny part is the half full crowd thought the Sabres would win tonight and Mario Williams would be signed.
The half empty crowd said we would lose and Mario would sign elsewhere.
Who predicted we would get half a win and Williams would spend another night and not sign.? |

So, anybody need their hat back? Tossing hats for a 2 goal performance! Priceless! New tradition? |

From my seat it was hard to tell if he got a piece of it. I was hoping he did, but even if I had had a hat on, I wouldn't have thrown it. I sit in the 300s and I'm in a corner, so the netting would have been in the way anyway. |

Did Miller look like he had a club on his catching hand live? I know he's played lights out lately but man he's gotta limit the rebounds and swallow the initial shot.

Even on TV it was hard to tell. We thought Foligno had a hatty for a minute. Just the fact the he was out front causing the disturbance was cause for excitement. The kid is money.

His rebound control wasn't good tonight. I'm in the end the Sabres shoot twice, so I only got to see him in front of me for 1 period and he was pretty good in that one. But in all fairness, they gave up 40+ shots tonight. They need to limit that more. You can't keep giving up that many shots and expect to win on a nightly basis. |

I thought he played well but I think they had a lot of second and third chances because Miller couldn't catch the puck for some reason.

Honestly, my biggest complaint with this game was the refs. They were AWFUL tonight. Our guys were getting tackled and interfered with and then they called the lamest penalties on us. Totally ridiculous. |

Indeed.
Foligno made him expendable. |

Which makes the trading of Kassian make obvious sense. The Hodgson thing is starting to become quite a mystery. He started out as this guy creating chances and just getting unlucky, to being really unlucky and costing us a crucial times. |

Houston I think we have found our problem. |

The hockey gods are smiting him for some reason. Maybe he (frank)ed his brothers girlfriend or something. I dont know.
When he rang that off the post 10 seconds in, I died a little on the inside. I wanted that to go bar down for him so bad. |

Typical Stephane Auger.
I agree though. But my problem is that it hasnt been just this game. Its been this whole second half of the season. Tonight, the Avs had so many interferences that wouldve been called back in 05-06, or 06-07.
The biggest one of the night came in OT when Ehrhoff wasnt allowed to skate to the net. He was getting cross checked and the puck was still on (i believe) Staffords stick. |

I was in the car and heard it on the radio. All I could do was shake my head. I think he died a little inside too because he never regained form. Its just become bizzare.
As far as the refs I've noticed we've gotton away with quite a bit too. Holdings and offsides mostly. |

Gragnani and Tanev have been the best pairing the past few games.
Not sure who Sulzer is playing with, but I doubt it's a rookie with only a handful of NHL games under his belt. |

Yeah, Foligno isn't a PPG player, he is a GPG player at this point! |
